A Dogwood membership sets aside a little something for your dog every month: a nail trim, a day of daycare, a later checkout after a stay. It is there when you want it, already taken care of.
Membership is per dog. Each member dog has a tier of their own and benefits of their own, so two dogs in one family can be on different tiers. It runs month to month, and you can ask us about any of it before you decide.

The daycare upgrade applies to a paid partial day. It does not apply to hourly daycare or package days.

Reserve holds twenty-five dogs. When it is full, we keep a waitlist. Once you confirm with us that you’d like to wait, your dog joins the list, and places are offered in that order as they open.

How it works.

Using a benefit
Mention it when you book or when you drop off. Our team sees each dog’s benefits and looks after the rest. A benefit belongs to the dog it was issued to.

When benefits expire
Monthly benefits are renewed on your membership date each month and do not carry over. Quarterly benefits last the quarter, and Club and Plus Extended Stays last the membership year. Anything unused on its last day expires. Benefits have no cash value.

Extended Stay
Enjoy a little more flexibility on pickup day. With a Complimentary Extended Stay, your dog can stay with us until closing time on their scheduled departure day, without the usual additional half-night charge. Subject to availability.
Club includes two each membership year and Plus includes six. Reserve dogs receive one with each eligible boarding stay. Closing time is our published closing time for that day, and an Extended Stay does not extend into another night.

The Zen Den
The Dogwood Zen Den is a peaceful retreat created just for your dog. During their 30-minute, one-on-one experience, they’ll enjoy a plush bed, soothing spa music, DogTV and a calming atmosphere, alongside a frozen Kong, enrichment puzzle or treats, as suits each dog. With a dedicated team member by their side, it’s a chance to unwind, enjoy gentle enrichment and take a little break from the busy world outside.
Plus and Reserve dogs receive one session each quarter.

The Reserve boarding credit
Each month, a Reserve dog receives a $47 credit toward boarding. If a stay isn’t in the plans that month, the credit can be exchanged, before its last day, for one Reserve Reward: a full day of daycare, a Zen Den session or a standard nail trim. One credit becomes one Reward, and the Reward is then good for sixty days.
From the first anniversary on Reserve, a $47 anniversary boarding credit is added each year. It is for boarding, is good for ninety days, can be used alongside the monthly credit on the same stay, and cannot be exchanged for a Reward.
Good to know
A few plain answers.
- How do we join?
- Ask us. Memberships are set up by our team, in person, by phone or by message. There is no online sign-up.
- How is it billed?
- Monthly, per dog, plus HST, through your KennelBooker account.
- Can we change tiers?
- Yes. A move up takes effect the day it is made, and anything unused from the earlier tier stays until it expires. A move down takes effect at the start of the next membership month.
- How late can we pick up with an Extended Stay?
- Until closing time on your dog’s scheduled departure day, as long as space allows. Let us know when you book or drop off, and we’ll confirm it.
- Is Reserve open?
- Reserve is limited to twenty-five dogs. When it is full, we keep a waitlist. Once you confirm with us that you’d like to wait, your dog joins the list, and places are offered in that order as they open. We’ll write to you when a place opens for your dog.
- Will you write to us about it?
- A welcome letter when you join, and a notice whenever something about the membership changes. A monthly member letter, credit reminders and an anniversary note are yours to keep or switch off.
