This NEW 4 week course will be starting on Monday February 27th for 4 weeks at Dogwood Lodge Pet Retreat from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Dates: February 27th, March 6th, March 13th, and March 20th.

Price: $190.00+hst

8 Dogs per class. A minimum of 3 dogs is required.

Ages: 8 months to 2 years.

What will you and your dog be learning in this course?

-Sit Stay, Sit Wait- Hand signals to these

-Down Stay, Down Wait- Hand signals to these

-Leave it

-Drop it

-Back it up

-Having your dog respond to their name and learning the command “Come”

-Practicing with No Jump and teaching the “Off” command.

In this class you are working with lots of distractions. We require that you have your dog on a regular leash and collar, Gentle Leader or Halti when you arrive. No shock, choke, or prong collars allowed. Please make sure you have lots of good dog treats (we also sell these) as no one works for free and you need to let your dog know they are doing a great job!

*IMPORTANT*

If you want to see great progress with your dog in this course please exercise your dog before you attend that way their energy level is where it needs to be for focusing. If your dog comes to class with lots of energy and 0 exercise you may not see a huge amount of progress as they will be very overstimulated during the hour being in a room with other dogs. Exercise is very important for all dogs and breeds and especially when you want to train them.
